TRAVEL FEES
There is a $250 deposit to secure your event or service. The deposit will be refunded immediately when the service is complete.
There is a $100 flat rate hourly travel fee once the barber arrives until the service is complete. This is in addition to the service price.
Parking fees will be charged when necessary.
Gas used for travel to events will be included and put into the travel fee total (mileage will be calculated in a document).
Flights when necessary will also be covered in the travel fee.
Location distance travel is charged when travel to the event exceeds 2.5 hours. Any accommodations will be booked and charged as well for this distance.
Any travel fees or expenses will be itemized in your individual quote when booking.
FAQs
what equipment will the barber provide?
The Grooms’ Man will ensure the best experience for you and your party. We’ll provide a barber chair, additional lighting, extension cords, and a mirror.
What do i need to provide for the barber?
A designated workspace to ensure a timely and efficient schedule.
Check with the venue if there is space that would allow for barbering services. We will sweep and vacuum any cut hair ourselves.
The workspace should be comfortable and somewhat climate controlled.
A flat surface for tools and products.
At least one electrical outlet.
tips & additional info
It's recommended to give guests and groomsmen prior notice that they don't have to arrange for grooming leading up to wedding or event if they want to take advantage of the service.
Generally one barber is enough to handle most groomsmen parties or other events but there are additional talented barbers available (same travel fees) if time is limited or a very large group.
The "Travel Version" of the straight razor shave*:
This shave available on the menu of services is described as a travel version of the traditional straight razor shave. We use a combination of a foil shaver as well as a straight razor traditional style to complete the service. There will be certain areas of the face where the foil shaver is used instead of straight razor depending on the person's skin type and occasion. Some people have very sensitive skin and would not want to risk the possibility of irritated or discolored skin on a wedding day (for example). Special care will be used in these situations.
